Grapholita caecana - a micro-moth new to Bedfordshire

The photo below was taken by David Manning, the Micro-moth recorder for Bedfordshire, of a tortrix sent to him for identification by David Withers. The moth was found on 2nd June 2009 at Totternhoe Quarry and is new to Bedfordshire.
This species is very local on chalk in Kent, and recent records are from Hampshire and Wiltshire.
The larvae feed on Sanfoin ( Onobrychis viciifolia )
